Until August 25 at 10am CT, Epic Games Store users can claim both Doom 64 and the Boom Boxer Content Pack for Rumbleverse completely free of charge. Doom 64 is the PC port of the Nintendo 64 Doom game that originally released in 1997 as a spin-off of the main Doom franchise. It was added to Epic Games Store as part of this month’s QuakeCon festivities. The Boom Boxer Content Pack for Rumbleverse includes cosmetics for players to equip in the free-to-play game, as well as a 120 minute Fame booster.

The latest bonus addition for the Epic Games Store freebies this week is the Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack for Destiny 2. Destiny 2 was surprise-launched for the Epic Games Store recently, and anyone that adds the game to their library is able to get the Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack for free. This pack includes the Gjallarhorn rocket launcher, the Grasp of Avarice dungeon, and various cosmetics for players to check out. It typically retails for $24.99, so it’s definitely great to get it completely free through the Epic Games Store.

Epic Games Store Free Games Right Now

Doom 64 (until August 25 at 10am CT) Rumbleverse Boom Boxer Content Pack (until August 25 at 10am CT) Destiny 2: Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack (until August 30 at 12pm CT) Ring of Pain (August 25 - September 1)

Unlike Doom 64 and the Rumbleverse Boom Boxer Content Pack that are being removed on August 25, Epic Games Store users have a little more time to claim the free Destiny 2 content. The Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack for Destiny 2 will remain free on the Epic Games Store until August 30 at 12pm CT, at which point it too will be removed from the lineup.

On August 25, Epic Games Store users can look forward to the addition of Ring of Pain, which will be available to claim from August 25 at 10am CT until September 1 at the same time. Ring of Pain is a roguelike card game that earned mixed reviews at the time of its original release in 2020, but it may still be an exciting freebie for fans of the genre. Once it’s added on August 25, Epic Games Store users should also learn what free games are coming in September 2022, so they have that to look forward to as well.
