If there are still personnel people who believe in the Wonderlic, they’ve probably moved former Memphis QB Paxton Lynch down their draft boards. Lynch — widely regarded as the third-best QB prospect in the draft, behind Jared Goff and Carson Wentz — scored an 18, according to Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Of the players listed in McGinn’s QB ratings for the 2016 Draft, Wentz rated the highest with a score of 40, while Kevin Hogan was next with a 38. That won’t surprise anyone. Again, not much should be made from these scores. Perusing this list posted on a site called Wonderlic Test Sample, you’ll find plenty of guys with low Wonderlic scores who went on to have fantastic NFL careers and those with high Wonderlic scores who didn’t amount to much in the NFL.
