Chelsea star completes Torino switch

Torino president Urbano Cairo has confirmed that the Italian club have signed Chelsea full-back Ola Aina permanently.

The fee is said to be in the region of €10 million, with Torino also having signed two other players.

Cairo also gave his view over the proposed European Super League, stating that his club are against the proposal.

Torino finished seventh last season and recorded their highest-ever Serie A points tally in a single campaign - 63.

Genoa up for sale, confirms club president

Club president Enrico Preziosi has confirmed that he will sell Genoa if a compelling offer comes.

The Serie A outfit barely avoided relegation last season, picking up just 38 points from the same number of games. They also lost their star striker Krzysztof Piatek to AC Milan in the January transfer window.

Preziosi also revealed his interest for Empoli boss Aurelio Andreazzoli.

Pjanic expects a great coach to take charge of Juventus

Massimiliano Allegri officially parted ways with Juventus at the end of the season.

Although the Old Lady are yet to announce Allegri’s successor, star midfielder Miralem Pjanic expects a quality manager to take charge of the Italian champions this summer.

He also shared his views on Bosnia’s Euro qualifier against Italy tonight.

Juventus set to announce Maurizio Sarri’s appointment

Chelsea are set to lose the former Napoli manager as the Italian’s move to Serie A champions Juventus draws closer than ever. Maurizio Sarri had a decent debut season at Stamford Bridge, helping the Blues to a third-place finish in the Premier League and guiding them to Europa League glory.

Unfortunately, the 60-year-old seemingly failed to gain the trust of the Chelsea board, who have given the green light to Sarri joining Juventus. But the Premier League side want the Italian champions to pay a compensation fee in return.

In his last season at Napoli, he nearly won the Serie A title. Sarri was praised for his offensive-oriented football, despite him never winning any major title in the Italian top tier. According to a recent report, Juventus will confirm Sarri’s arrival between Wednesday and Thursday.

Pogba reportedly says ‘yes’ to Juventus return

Paul Pogba’s reputation soared high when he played for Juventus. After spending four seasons in Turin between 2012 and 2016, the Frenchman returned to Manchester United for a then-world record fee.

However, he has been slammed for his inconsistent displays at Manchester United, despite the midfielder scoring 13 goals and providing nine assists in the Premier League last season.

Pogba has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer, with Real Madrid and Juventus interested in him. It has now been claimed that the 26-year-old has said ‘yes’ to the prospect of returning to Juventus. Economic aspects have been the main stumbling block for Juventus to finalize the deal, but the Old Lady could use anyone among Paulo Dybala, Douglas Costa and Alex Sandro to sweeten the deal.

It is believed that Manchester United have chosen Dybala. The Argentine endured a disappointing campaign, following Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival, and is likely to depart Juventus.
