But the 2010-11 season was not a great one for the team. Indiana finished 37-45 and fired head coach Jim O’Brien following a 17-27 start to the season.

On Saturday a Twitter user asked George about what his favorite moment from his rookie year was, and the superstar responded with a rather interesting answer.

His answer does have some merit. Frank Vogel replaced O’Brien, and the first-time head coach led the team to a 20-18 record to end the season and a berth in the playoffs.

With Vogel as head coach, the Pacers are 167-100, have made back-to-back Eastern Conference finals and had the Eastern Conference’s best record in 2013-14.

Also under Vogel, George has become a bona fide superstar and one of the best players in the NBA, although George’s minutes per game stayed roughly the same in ‘10-11 after Vogel replaced O’Brien.

That being said, seeing a person lose his job is a favorite moment?

Not exactly something you would expect to hear from a guy like Paul George.
